Furniture Treasure Gone Tropical

One of my favorite pastimes is to wander through furniture consignment / thrift shops on days off.
I get giddy just thinking about what great treasures I’ll  find for a steal!
This is one of my great finds from a wonderful furniture consignment shop located in downtown Fallbrook, Fallbrook Trading Company.
I bought this gently used Lazy Boy Wing Chair recliner for $80.00 (did the research and they run about $700.00 new!)
with the intention of reupholstering. Although the existing fabric was in good shape, the print was too traditional for my taste.
With a few weeks of research I found an awesome fabric shop online, FabricGuru.com.
Picked out a subdued tropical print to match our bamboo floored tropical themed bedroom
and had a very talented girlfriend to do the reupholstering…and OMG what a transformation!!
What do you think? Pretty cool, huh?
