Almost done with my new plumeria greeting card set using photos of my beautiful plumerias

from our yard. As soon as I get the right photos they will post for sale. 

 

 

The plumeria is found around the world. 

Common naturalized plants in southern and southeastern Aisa. 

In several Pacific Islands such as Tahiti, Fiji, Samoa, Hawaii, New Zealand,

 Tonga, and the Cook Islands Plumeria species are used for making leis.

In modern Polynesian culture, it can be worn by women to indicate their relationship status-

over the right ear if seeking a relationship, and over the left ear if taken.  (wikipedia)

We, here, in the United States just know when we see a plumeria, 

it takes us back to a romantic tropical island.
